Just because of my new hot pink sandals, being a lover of hot pink I was flaunting it and cat walking to the junction, some guys were admiring and using the local tactic of whistling to get my attention but for living a greater part of my life in the city, I felt irritated by it...I was humming my favorite worship song and swinging my hands voluntarily and happily not forgetting to clutch my little purse from time to time like I'd be attacked by robbers immediately. Getting to the junction I flagged a tricycle down and told the rider where I was going to, because of the cute guy in already I was automatically a very good grammarian...I was speaking big grammar and still haggling till it was 50naira..Halfway my spirit told me to bring out the money, so I don't have to start searching when I get to my destination, I put my hand in my purse I met a great silence in there, or perhaps they had a curfew in my purse, okay maybe it's in my pockets cos I can remember bringing out some money to put in my purse and pocket, wait! a voice whispered to me “You forgot it on top of the table and zoomed out" I wanted to scream, I was really sweating now, I just became restless. I said within me "See babe, forming has ended o,You better turn to a poor village girl now. But I refused to give up on myself, then I started praying to God that he should help me, as I'm searching the guy will steal a glance at me..

When he looks at me I'll pretend to be checking out my bag, we continued this way. I was so scared of being embarrassed or begging the fine guy to pay though we were the only passengers. I didn't stop searching, I kept on repeating "God is still in the business of performing miracles" in my heart when suddenly I felt a ruffled sheet against my palms, I was almost jumping …out of joy, my smile returned instantly and my confidence sprang up again, bringing out the joy retriever Boom! it was the previous day market list I forgot in my bag!
